Rose Day at the Vietnam Memorial Wall

http://www.WoodringWallOfHonor.com Contact Number: 580-233-4530 Location: Vietnam Memorial Wall, Woodring Regional Airport, 1026 S 66th Father's Day Weekend, volunteers join sons and daughters of those whose names are inscribed on The Wall and affix long-stemmed roses with messages of love and honor, sent from across the country to those lost in the war. Each message is read aloud and each rose is touched to the loved one's name on The Wall before finally being placed at the base of the Memorial.

This year, our tournament will honor long-time United Way employee, champion and golf tournament organizer, Ronna Richards, who passed away one week after last year's tournament. Her husband, Glenn Richards, is serving as our honorary Chair. Four-person scramble, Cost is $75 per player and includes mulligan package. CSRHC History Explorers Day Camp

http://www.csrhc.org Contact Number: 580-237-1907 Location: Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center, 507 S. 4th St. Day camp June 9-13 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. daily for students entering 4th-6th grade. Students will discover what it was like to live in the Cherokee Outlet over 100 years ago. New adventures daily include fishing, outdoor games, a lawn social, frontier army exploration, land surveying and mapping and a cowboy cattle drive. History Explorers will collect many artifacts on their explorations to take home. During the week campers will build an exhibit to present to their parents at the closing ceremony on Friday. Camp registration is $170 and is limited to 26 students. Registration covers all activities and supplies and includes a camp T-shirt. Heritage Center members receive a 20% discount.
